Cancellation Policy
At A1 Auto Detailing, we are committed to providing top-quality service and exceptional care for your vehicle. Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be made at least 2 days before your scheduled service time. Late cancellation fees: more than 2 days notice — no fee; 2 days notice — $50 fee; 1 day notice — 50% of service amount, up to $500; less than 1 day notice, no call/no show, or vehicle unavailable upon arrival — 100% of service amount, up to $500. Larger jobs such as Detailing, PPF, Window Tint, and Ceramic Coatings are subject to a non-refundable deposit in place of a cancellation fee; deposits are non-refundable after 48 hours of the deposit transaction. To cancel or reschedule, call us at (425) 404-0760 during operating hours or use our online booking system. If an emergency prevents you from keeping your appointment, please reach out as soon as possible — exemptions are evaluated case by case.

Do I need to do anything to prepare my vehicle before the appointment?
Give it a basic rinse if it's extremely dirty, but don't wash it — we handle full decontamination as part of every service. Remove personal items and car seats if possible to give our technicians full access.
How long does each service take?
Interior and exterior detail: 4-8 hours depending on vehicle size and condition. Paint correction: 1-2 days. Ceramic coating (5-year): 1-2 days. Ceramic coating (10-year): 2-3 days. PPF full front: 1-2 days. Window tint: 2-4 hours. Vinyl wrap: 2-5 days.
Does financing apply to all services?
Financing options are available for ceramic coating packages, PPF, vinyl wrap, and paint correction. Interior and exterior detailing packages are typically paid at time of service. Ask our team when booking for current financing terms.
What aftercare is required after a ceramic coating?
Avoid washing the vehicle for 7 days after application. Use pH-neutral soap and a clean microfiber wash mitt for all future washes. Avoid automatic car washes. Annual maintenance inspections are recommended to extend coating performance.
Is there a warranty on ceramic coatings and PPF?
Yes. Our 5-year ceramic coating includes a 5-year product warranty. The 10-year package includes extended documentation and a 10-year warranty against coating failure. PPF installations carry a manufacturer warranty against bubbling, yellowing, and delamination — typically 5-10 years depending on film grade.
Can I combine services — for example, PPF and ceramic coating together?
Absolutely. PPF and ceramic coating are frequently installed together for maximum protection — PPF handles physical impact zones, ceramic coating goes over the remaining painted surfaces. We'll walk you through the recommended sequence during your consultation.
