About Our Paint Protection Film
DYNOshield PPF
When it comes to protecting your new car, restoration project, or vinyl wrap, paint protection films are the modern-day waxes, and clocking in a lot more benefits. One of those benefits is that you should not wax our PPFs. DYNOshield has a ceramic-infused topcoat that provides hydrophobic water beading properties to make keeping your car clean a quicker and easier process.
With a hydrophobic film, contaminates are lifted from the surface and carried away in the water beads that effortlessly flow off each wrapped panel. All of our DYNOseires PPFs are hydrophobic films that make washing easier, and as a result, requires less friction and abrasion to the surface keeping your cars finish as pristine as possible. When you do handwash our PPFs, the process takes less chemicals and elbow grease thanks to the hydrophobic topcoat.
Our DYNOshield PPF is made from Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) plastic which provides tremendous elasticity and durability against punctures and tearing, especially compared to PVC plastics found in cheaper PPFs and vinyl color change wrap films. STEK’s manufacturing of TPU-based films combines innovation and modern technology to provide a tangible self-sacrificial layer of protection that stops rock chips, scratches, stains, and other damages from ever reaching your paint.
DYNOshield has a 10 year warranty and has been the chosen protective automotive film for thousands of enthusiast alike.

DYNOmatte PPF
DYNOmatte is a matte PPF that turns any car’s paint into a sleek satin finish. The clarity of STEK PPF allows the metallic flake in your OEM paint to still show through while taking on a beautiful satin sheen, having a slightly less dull finish than some of our competitor’s matte and stealth paint protection films. This means STEK DYNOmatte matches a wide variety of factory matte paints, so you can keep the original look of your matte, frost, or frozen factory paint whether you decide to protect the full body or just the front end in STEK’s PPF.
DYNOmatte’s primary purpose is to prevent rock chips and scratches from reaching your paint. It goes further than just stopping scratches, though, with a self-healing topcoat that allows scratches to self-heal and level out. This self-healing membrane is a major benefit in particular on matte finishes because matte paints are especially susceptible to scratching and staining. Once your factory matte paint is scratched, there is no way to correct it or spot repair, you have to invest in a very pricey paint job that is rarely of the same quality as the factory’s original finish.
With DYNOmatte, you get to keep your OEM paint in perfect condition with less effort, all while enjoying the look and feel of having a matte finish. Our matte paint protection films have a 10-year warranty and are recommended for gloss and matte finish cars.

Paint Protection Film FAQ
What is the difference Ceramic Coating and PPF?
Ceramic coatings offer a durable, water-resistant layer that improves luster and guards against water stains, scratches, and UV radiation. Conversely, Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a thicker, clearer coating that provides better defense against dirt, deep scratches, and rock chips. PPF offers stronger physical protection, although ceramic coatings are best for gloss and chemical resistance.
