Detailing a vehicle can have various complicated steps, detailing has these steps because we as professional auto detailers  need to be able to clean and protect the materials in the vehicles in a safe way to not damage the vehicle. First step in cleaning your leather seats is to vacuum any debris that might be on the seat, or you could even use tools like compressed air to blow away the dirt and get into all the cracks and crevices on the seat. After you have made sure that you have removed all loose debris from the seat you well now start the cleaning process of the seat. For this second step you will need, soft brushes or professional soft scrubbers like the scrub ninja you will also need a safe cleaning product to clean the leather. You can either buy a leather cleaner from any auto parts store or buys products like Xpress interiors from P&S to clean the seat and you will also need some microfiber towels.  Third step you will spray your cleaner into your choice of tools I listed earlier and spray the chemical into the tool and start to softly scrub the seat to remove any dirt and oils on the seat, after you have scrubbed the seat thoroughly you will wipe down the seat and remove any excess dirt or cleaner. The seat should now have a nice matte looking color that matte looking color is what clean leather looks like. Last step in the cleaning of leather seats is to apply some sort of protection to the seat to protect it from harmful UV rays  and avoid the leather from cracking or fading. You can choose multiple types of protection, there are multiple types of protection with different finishes as well, some leave shiny finishes, or no finishes at al. It depends on what you want to choose or what your customer wants. The most important part is to make sure that the leather is protected to make sure that the leather stays looking good for as long as possible.
