How to properly wash your cars paint at home?
Usually when people wash their vehicles, they use a combination of sponges, towels or even dirty wash mitts. These are all NOT the right way to clean your vehicle. First step in washing your vehicle is to make sure you have a couple tools, a plush microfiber drying towel to prevent scratching when drying the vehicle, nice PH neutral soap that you can get at any auto parts store, 2 buckets, a hose sprayer, and a microfiber wash mitt. All of these supplies, you can get at your local auto parts store.

First, place your vehicle in a place that is not under direct sunlight. Second, rinse down the vehicle to remove as much dirt as possible. Third, fill up 1  bucket with water and soap and then fill up the second bucket with just water. Then, make sure to use the hose sprayer to spray water into the bucket with soap to make the soap foam up. After that, you are ready to wash the vehicle.

Start washing the vehicle in sections of 2 panels and rinse your wash mitt in the second bucket after every 2 panels and make sure to grab more foam from the soap bucket to keep the washing process lubricated . You should also make sure to wash the vehicle in straight lines from top to bottom and NEVER in circles or swirling motions, as that can cause scratches or micro swirls. After you have carefully washed your entire vehicle, you can now start to rinse the entire vehicle thoroughly. Next, you grab your microfiber drying towel and start to dry the whole vehicle to prevent any water from drying onto the vehicle and causing water spots.  Finally, you should be left with a nice clean paint ready to show off the hard work you put into washing your vehicle and keeping it clean.
